SL8, West End, Brisbane - QLD
Pulse Property had identified West End, Brisbane as a growth area with a shortage of quality stock. In March 2007, they started talking to developer FKP about an exciting project about to commence in the area called SL8.
Pulse negotiated access to the stock before the public launch, at pre-release prices. Pulse received access to the project on 26 April, 2007 and in the first 2 weeks, 20 Pulse clients purchased apartments. These investors were rewarded for moving quickly, as in the next 8 weeks there were 3 price rises, increasing prices by a total of 20%. By the time the project went to public launch, further price rises had increased the price on some apartments by as much as 24%. The project is expected to be complete in the first half of 2009 – by which time investors are likely to experience further capital growth.
